A native of New Mexico, Ken Johnson-Mondragón has more than 17 years of experience doing socioreligious research on the Hispanic/Latino community in the United States. He received the Mario Vizcaíno Award in 2008 for his contributions to the field of Hispanic Youth and Young Adult Ministry while serving as the Director of Research and Publications at Instituto Fe y Vida, where he continues to contribute as a member of the Pastoral Team. In 2017, he was contracted by the USCCB to oversee the research aspects of the V Encuentro of Hispanic/Latino Ministry consultation.
