Cari White grew up in the great state of Minnesota (Go Twins!) where she played soccer for many, many years, until her junior year of high school, when she discovered her great love- Marching band! She played tenor drums (they were really heavy) in high school, and then was in a traveling all ages drum corp playing mallet percussion, and became a 2 time world champion! Cari graduated with a BA in Theology and minor in secondary Education from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph MN, and years later received an MA in theology from St. John's University, in Collegeville MN. Fun fact, when she was a junior in college the football coach became the win-ingest coach in college football regardless of division! After college Cari spent 5 years working as a youth minister in various parishes in the Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis in MN, before transitioning to work in a high school outside of Minneapolis as a Campus Minister. After a brief, but amazing year there, Cari applied for and took the position of Director of Campus Ministry at St. Edward High School in Lakewood, and just finished her 7th year there! She is also currently studying to complete her MDiv and will enter the DMin program next September at St. Mary's Seminary in Wickliffe, Ohio. When she's not having theological discussions with people, especially students, (her most favorite way to pass the time), Cari loves to travel, read books and binge watch the tv show Timeless, and all tv shows about people with super powers.
